No, we welcome everyone to the café for all ages and we operate a ‘meet and greet’ service (£5 per person, children under 8yrs FREE) where you can arrange to spend some supervised time with our dogs.

Yes, we welcome your dogs but you must keep them on a lead whilst in the café, if you want them to have some exercise and play, you can book them in for hourly play with the other dogs whilst you enjoy a meal in the café. Our dogs are off their leads in the café area but they are trained to spend time with our customers, not beg for treats and be very gentle with little ones.

Yes, for hourly play, day care or boarding we’ll need to register you and your dog and so the certificates are part of that registration.

Yes, a key part of the experience here is socialisation but we always initially assess your dog’s personality check how your dog will react with our own dogs before we expose them to any of the others. Sometimes we advise that dogs can’t share time with our other dogs because they are not yet suitable to do so. Our trained staff will advise you and if necessary make some suggestions and advise on ways to help your dog become more social with other dogs so that they can come back on some future occasion.

Yes, all major credit cards are accepted as well as with Apple pay.

Yes, we have our own FREE car park and also there is FREE street parking nearby especially at weekends.

Yes, we have a Vegan menu and gluten free alternatives too.

For day care your dog needs to have had all of its vaccinations and allowed 7-10 days after boosters for the safety of new puppies in a social environment. Typically at least 3 months old but there is no age limit we assess each dog individually and our experts will advise you during the assessment.

We don’t ask for proof of vaccination other than for day care and other than our own dogs, all other dogs must be kept on a lead in the Café. It is however a social area and so to keep your puppy safe, we would advise that your vaccinations are done and up to date..

As well as ladies’ and gent’s toilets, we have disabled access facilities too.

No booking required for the Beach dog café but you are advised to book for day care at least 1 day in advance for Daycare.

No it is free to come to the Beach Dog Café.

We will soon operate a delivery service to local businesses but at the moment we can take orders for collection over the phone. You can order from us over the phone and then collect later

Yes by appointment you can bring your dog to use our facilities.

Yes by appointment we welcome groups, we have hosted special days for Pug owners, school trips, special care trips and senior citizens outings, we can provide food and share menus in advance as well as arrange for tours and talks as required.

Yes by appointment only but only registered dogs that have gone through their assessment

Yes unlike many places, the dog play area is open to view and we show people around the facility during the assessment so that you can easily see what you get from us.

Yes by arrangement we try to accommodate people who for example work shifts at the hospital, sometimes we take dogs home so that they can be collected out of ours or dropped off at our home before we open but usually there is somebody on-site who can

Coming soon our very own membership scheme, our ‘Beach Club’ where regular day care customers can join to secure preferential rates, hourly customers can buy hourly and 4 hourly plays in advance at special prices and non-dog owners can join to be kept up to date with events and special offers.
